Social media specialist.
Fixed income.
Our traders bring you a wide range of fixed income ideas and explain them. You turn them into well-structured posts, threads and Substack articles, publish them on @HeardFloor and Heard on the Trading Floor, and talk with the fixed income community that reads them.

What we already have
- @HeardFloor on X. Years of trader-to-trader posts on preferred stocks, baby bonds, relative value, special situations and the hard lessons of managing risk.
- Heard on the Trading Floor. A research archive on Substack, ready to be relaunched.
- Rebalancing Flow. A free public tool that tracks preferred-stock ETF rebalancing flows.
- A desk full of ideas. Our traders work across US fixed income every day: preferred stocks, baby bonds, Treasuries, corporate bonds and rates. There is no shortage of material.
What you’ll do
- Hear the idea from the trader. The traders bring you trades, charts and lessons from across the fixed income spectrum, and explain the reasoning: what the security is, why it looks mispriced, what could go wrong and why it matters now.
- Give it structure. Turn each explanation into a clear post, thread or Substack article: the point first, then the numbers, the risks and the context. Written in the desk’s voice, not a marketing voice.
- Publish it. Own the calendar for X and Substack: what goes out, in which format and when. Relaunch the Heard on the Trading Floor newsletter.
- Talk with the community. Reply, answer questions and join the conversations that matter. Build relationships with the fixed income traders, analysts and writers our readers follow, and bring their questions back to the desk.
- Measure honestly. Track profile visits, subscribers and replies from the right people, and report plainly each month on what worked and what didn’t.
- Keep us compliant. Make sure every post carries the right disclosures. Nothing that reads as a trade recommendation goes out without Filip’s sign-off.
Who we’re looking for
- You know fixed income. You understand yields, duration, credit spreads, call dates and the capital structure, and you follow rates and credit on your own. Preferred stocks and baby bonds are a big plus.
- You can talk to fixed income people as one of them. Traders and investors who read @HeardFloor should take your replies seriously.
- You write sharp English. You can take a trader’s ten-minute explanation and turn it into a thread that makes sense on a phone.
- You have grown something yourself. An account, a newsletter or a community, and you can show the numbers behind it.
- You know the platforms from practice. Hooks, threads, replies, timing, Substack Notes and recommendations.
- You use AI to work faster, but you never publish AI filler.
How to apply
Email [email protected] with the subject “Social Media Specialist” and show us your work. No cover letter.
- Your CV, in English.
- The accounts you have built or run. The handles, your role and the dates, with how they grew. Screenshots or analytics exports are best. Add your three best posts or threads and why you think they worked. If you have written about fixed income or markets, include it.
- How you would help us. About a page on how you would grow @HeardFloor and relaunch the Substack: the directions you would take, your ideas and the methods you would use. We don’t need a full strategy. We want to see how you think.
In the last line, tell us how you found this role. How we handle your application is explained on our privacy page.
